My guess is 1974. My DH's lapels on his powder blue suit he wore to prom in 1971 were a little wider than the one in this pic, so that's my scientific estimate.....:)

I'd say 1971, though you look too young. That's the year I got married and that outfit looks suspiciously familiar.

hiya, judging by that wood paneling on the wall, mega cool in the game room during the 70s and my bedroom was covered with it! sideburns, ruffles with the matching brown edging, brown suit I am guessing 1976. the year of the centennial! great start on your blog!
